TV Planner/Buyer

Role Outline

The TV team at the7stars are driven, forward thinking and challenge themselves to deliver bespoke broadcast strategies  for our clients no matter what the budget.  As an agency we trade very differently, having  knowledge of the TV Marketplace and strong relationships with contractors is imperative.

Responsibilities

  • Use knowledge of media planning and buying products, tools and services to support the team to deliver solid plans and drive innovation
  • Work closely with internal client teams to efficiently deliver strong and clear broadcast recommendations
  • Be a trusted expert and comfortable at presenting to experienced clients
  • Be in control of Audits/PRIP delivery
  • Have strong negotiation skills to trade on a day to day basis
  • Challenge briefs

Experience

You are likely to have at least 3-4 years of Broadcast experience, be passionate, ambitious and curious.  You will need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to think strategically and look for creative solutions to briefs
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and time management
  • Written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to challenge colleagues and clients
  • Ability to brief and manage media owners
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to think beyond the spot
  • Ability to deliver deals
