the7stars and Suzuki have revved up their award-winning #suzukisaturdays brand partnership with ITV and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

The Brief

The automotive category is incredibly competitive when it comes to ad spend, yet many car brands do much of the same when it comes to their car advertising….

Over the last 18 months, we’ve been working with ITV and Ant & Dec’s Saturday night Takeaway to put the fun back into driving.

After a hugely successful year 1, we were tasked with weaving Suzuki further into the fabric of Saturday Night Takeaway and continuing to create content that is truly new and entertaining.

What We Did

In addition to being the show sponsor and creating a series of all new ads spots with Ant & Dec, we’ve evolved the partnership for year two by…

• Extending our partnership presence into the Republic of Ireland. This includes Ant & Dec airtime, sponsorship, licensing, online content creation and social media

• Creating an online content series featuring the new host on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeway; Scarlett Moffatt. This content is being seeded out online each Saturday ahead of the show building momentum for fans

• Taking our partnership behind-the-scenes, Suzuki will have a dedicated social team at all stages of the show; production, rehearsals and live filming. This will allow all social comms to be relevant and reactive and feel like a natural extension of the show

The Results

We are now live, however the first year of the partnership saw record car sales for Suzuki and a few awards wins under our belt, including gold at Media Week.
